Zamboanga Peninsula is long, semicircular peninsula located in northwestern Mindanao, the Philippines, extending southwesterly toward the Sulu Archipelago and Borneo. It has an area of roughly 5,600 square miles (14,500 square km). The peninsula was connected to the main part of Mindanao through an isthmus situated between Panguil Bay and Pagadian Bay. The boundary between the peninsula and the mainland is artificially marked by the border between Zamboanga del Sur and Lanao del Norte.

Sta. Cruz Island

A pink sand beach is very rare and there are only a few of them around the globe. They can be found in Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda, 3 islands from the Bahamas, Culebra in Puerto Rico, Maui inHawaii, Santorini in Greece, Barbuda in the Carribean, Crane Beach in Barbados, and here in The Great Santa Cruz Islands in the Philippines.

Visa Island

This beautiful island is located about 32 Km. ( 19.881Mi. ) North-East of downtown Zamboanga City, and about 4 Km. ( 2.49 Mi. ) North-East of the barrangay of Bolong, on the beautiful Moro Gulf.

Pitas Island

About 30 Km. North-East of downtown Zamboanga City, and 2 Km.North-East of Bolong barangay, on the beautiful Moro Gulf.

Bolong Beach

Bolong is about 33 kilometers from downtown Zamboanga City (about 45 minutes to 1 hour from downtown Zamboanga).
